Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition, a scaled-down demake of Capcom's survival horror classic, has been ported to the PS Vita. In this post, I will guide you on how to install the game on your PS Vita. This is an open-source wrapper that loads the official Android version of the game — you'll need your own legitimate copy of the Android app.
Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition Introduction
Gameplay
Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition is a heavily downgraded demake of the original Resident Evil 4, built for Android hardware — it condenses the survival-horror action of the console original into a lighter, mobile-friendly package.
This PS Vita port brings that mobile edition to your handheld.

Storyline
Following the same broad strokes as the original, this mobile edition sends special agent Leon S. Kennedy to rural Spain to rescue the president's daughter from a cult wielding a mind-controlling parasite, in a condensed retelling of the story.
Note: This is not the full GameCube/PS2/console Resident Evil 4 — it's the separate, heavily downgraded Mobile Edition demake for Android. This is an open-source wrapper that loads the official Android executable — it is not a bundled copy of the game. You need your own legitimate copy of Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition for Android to build the required data yourself, as shown in Part 1 below.

Part 1 - Patch Your Own Game Data
How to prepare the data from your own Android copy
1. Obtain your own legitimate copy of Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition for Android — the .apk file and its .obb data file.
2. Follow the folder structure shown in the port's installation guide to extract and place your files correctly.
Part 2 - Install on PS Vita
How to install on your Vita
1. Install kubridge and FdFix by copying kubridge.skprx and fd_fix.skprx to your taiHEN plugins folder (usually ur0:tai) and adding two entries under *KERNEL in config.txt: ur0:tai/kubridge.skprx and ur0:tai/fd_fix.skprx. (Skip fd_fix if you're using the repatch plugin.)
2. Make sure you have libshacccg.suprx in ur0:/data/ — if not, use ShaRKBR33D to get it.
3. Install the .vpk loader on your Vita.
4. Launch the game.

Is this the real Resident Evil 4?
No. This is the Mobile Edition, a heavily downgraded demake made for Android — not the GameCube/PS2/console version. This is also an open-source wrapper, not a bundled copy — you need your own legitimate Android copy, as shown in Part 1.
