Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, the classic hack-and-slash action RPG, has been ported to the PS Vita. In this post, I will guide you on how to install the game on your PS Vita. This is an open-source wrapper by Nevak that loads the official Android version of the game — you'll need your own legitimate copy of the Android app.

Gameplay
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a hack-and-slash action RPG set in the Forgotten Realms, where you build up a character, loot gear, and fight your way through dungeons solo or with a friend in co-op.
This PS Vita port brings the full campaign to your handheld, with support for 2-player co-op and rear touch panel button emulation for the shoulder triggers.
Storyline
Set in the city of Baldur's Gate, the story follows an adventurer drawn into a plot involving an ancient artifact and warring factions, fighting through the city's sewers, forests, and dungeons to stop a rising threat.
Now on PS Vita, it's a great pick for handheld dungeon-crawling, especially with a second player along for local co-op.
Note: This is an open-source wrapper by Nevak (GitHub) — it is not a bundled copy of the game. It loads the official Android executable, so you need your own legitimate copy of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for Android to build the required data yourself, as shown in Part 1 below.

Part 1 - Patch Your Own Game Data
How to prepare the data from your own Android copy
1. Obtain your own legitimate copy of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for Android — the .apk file. You can get this directly from your phone or with an APK extractor from the Play Store.
2. Follow the folder structure shown in the official GitHub release notes (Nevak/bgda-vita) to extract and place your files correctly.
Part 2 - Install on PS Vita
How to install on your Vita
1. Install kubridge and FdFix by copying kubridge.skprx and fd_fix.skprx to your taiHEN plugins folder (usually ux0:tai) and adding two entries under *KERNEL in config.txt: ux0:tai/kubridge.skprx and ux0:tai/fd_fix.skprx. (Skip fd_fix if you're using the repatch plugin.)
2. (Optional) Install PSVshell to overclock your device to 500MHz.
3. Install libshacccg.suprx if you don't already have it.
4. Install the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance .vpk on your Vita.
5. If you want 2-player co-op on a handheld Vita (not Vita TV), also install the MiniVitaTV plugin.
6. Launch the game.

Is this a full copy of the game?
No. This is an open-source wrapper that loads the official Android executable — you need to own Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for Android yourself and supply your own APK file, as shown in Part 1. The download here only provides the loader.
Known issues
Low framerate during video playback (including the main menu) due to CPU-based video decoding, occasional frame spikes in some levels, missing real-time shadows (disabled for performance), achievements not working yet, and performance issues in levels with lots of vegetation and water (e.g. the Rotting Bog).
