NBA Jam, the legendary over-the-top arcade basketball game, has been ported to the PS Vita. In this post, I will guide you on how to install the game on your PS Vita. This is an open-source wrapper by elliencode (built on TheFloW's Android loader) that loads the official Android version of NBA Jam — you'll need your own legitimate copy of the Android app.
NBA Jam Introduction
NBA Jam Gameplay
NBA Jam is famous for its fast-paced 2-on-2 arcade basketball action — over-the-top dunks, "on fire" streaks, and exaggerated player caricatures from all 30 NBA teams, all with no fouls and no free throws to slow things down.
This PS Vita port brings that same arcade chaos to your handheld, with support for physical controls right out of the box.
NBA Jam Storyline
There's no story mode here — NBA Jam is all about quick, arcade-style matches. Pick your team, run up ridiculous scores, and set your player "on fire" with a hot streak of consecutive baskets.
Now on PS Vita, it's a perfect pick-up-and-play game for short handheld sessions.
Note: This is an open-source wrapper by elliencode (GitHub) — it is not a bundled copy of the game. It loads the official Android executable, so you need your own legitimate copy of NBA Jam for Android (v4.00.80) to build the required data yourself, as shown in Part 1 below.

Part 1 - Patch Your Own Game Data
How to prepare the data from your own Android copy
1. Obtain your own legitimate copy of NBA Jam for Android, version 4.00.80 — the .apk file and its .obb file.
2. Follow the exact folder structure shown in the official GitHub release notes (elliencode/nba-jam-psv) to extract and place your files correctly.
Part 2 - Install on PS Vita
How to install on your Vita
1. Install kubridge and FdFix by copying kubridge.skprx and fd_fix.skprx to your taiHEN plugins folder (usually ur0:tai) and adding two entries under *KERNEL in config.txt: ur0:tai/kubridge.skprx and ur0:tai/fd_fix.skprx. (Skip fd_fix if you're using the repatch plugin.)
2. Make sure you have libshacccg.suprx in ur0:/data/ — if not, use ShaRKBR33D to get it.
3. Install com.eamobile.nbajam_row_wf.vpk (from the GitHub Releases page) on your Vita.
4. Launch the game.
Note: loading times when starting or quitting a match can be slow (up to a minute) — this is a platform limitation, not something you did wrong. Multiplayer is also not supported yet.

Is this a full copy of the game?
No. This is an open-source wrapper that loads the official Android executable — you need to own NBA Jam for Android yourself and supply your own APK/OBB files, as shown in Part 1. The download here only provides the loader.
Known issues
Loading times when starting a match or returning to the main menu can take up to a minute — a hardware limitation of the Vita's disk I/O rather than a bug. Multiplayer isn't supported in this version.
